I suppose if there is some mug daft enough to pay the price then there will always be some 'entrepreneur' willing to risk asking silly money for the product

Well, being a bit of a hobby detailer myself I have some expensive waxes and my observations are that you need eyes better than an electron microscope to tell the difference at the higher end.

Turtle Wax = a fiver a tin. That's about 10 times what the product is worth.
Cheap hobby waxes such as Poorboys, Nattys, Chemical Guys etc. usually between a tenner and 30 quid a pot. These are massively better than Hellfrauds junk.
Then move up to Victoria Concours etc. Yes, you can tell a difference but it is smaller. Up to a couple of hundred quid a pot.
Now, the teller for me. Crystal Rock, a seriously expensive wax and I can't tell the difference between that and Dod Juice Supernatural at about 60 quid.

Same panels, same car, side by side waxes at the high end. Can anyone really tell the difference? In a truly blind test I would seriously doubt it. Thumbs Up
