Leather dye/conditioner

Quick query - has anybody tried the colour matched leather dye offered on the Bay? My leather is not too bad, some slight cracking on the drivers seat/ armrest and some slight scratches. Was wondering if this was best stuff, or just use Gliptone or similar? Thanks in Advance!

I bought the Gliptone cleaner and conditioner but also a pot of black leather dye.

The plan is to clean first, then dye, then condition.

Haven't had a chance to do it yet, but I did test a small area where I've lost some of the colour in a crack in my leather and it filled it nicely, a bit like polishing a scuffed shoe.

Not sure if that's much help, but I'll be giving it a go next time I've got a few hours spare. Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

My brother sells Gliptone on eBay and has very satisfied customers. Not had to do th FF yet, but my SL interior was done with it a year or so ago and looks pretty good. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

Hi, got some dye from'Dynamix' on ebay. initially asked for the interior colour but not too good match, sent small off cut from below rear seat and received perfect match free of charge. have used on arm rest and v good results. they sent a 20% discount which can be used by any ffrr member 'big 20', if of any use.

1) What's your interior colour (and model year) please
and
2) What's their dye number (or name) for it

(saves me cutting off pieces of seat if yours is the same!)

hi, 2010, land rover stated Ivory. but seems more 'sand' in shade, dye supplier sent ivory dye (as requested) which was as i remembered an old RRS interior i had to be, hence sending an offcut. sorry no code on bottle of dye returned as matched to offcut.
