i have two cracks in my speedo that same to be getting bigger. Is is possible to just buy the speedo glass ?

I have seen a few used instrument binnacles on Ebay and wondering if the glass on the pre 2006 model would be the same at the 08 model. Anyone know ? They look roughly the same size. They are about 100 pounds also so not cheap just to get the glass. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
