Just tried to do it and it says "No MOT shown on records"

The MOT runs out this Saturday, so I'm wondering if this is what the DVLA are doing to stop people taxing their cars then not bothering to MOT them? After all, the only thing on display is a tax disc. Nothing to suggest there's an MOT on the vehicle (although there should be IMO).

Maybe there needs to be at least a month left to run on the MOT before they'll issue one?

++UPDATE++ Just called VOSA and they say its because the MOT expires in the same month. Had it have been the 1st March, I could have taxed the vehicle. Strange. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

If your taxing it FROM 1st March it will then have NO MOT!  If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.

they are supposed to have a valid MOT on the date the RFL starts
