IMO Don't go down the 22" route.

Stick with the 19's. You have a car designed for comfort, why compromise that comfort by fitting bigger wheels? No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Unless you are an anorak about wheels and tyres , how many people actually look at a car or a FF and think " Jesus he's got 22" alloys on " or any other size for that matter. .....

I've got 22's on my car, and strangely enough, I've never been approached by people looking for some guy called Charlie all the time!

IMHO the FFRR looks & drives far better with 22's fitted... But then im maybe younger than most of the 22" haters on this site...

As my wife said, the more inches the better! I have 18's, 20's & 22's, although not fitted at the same time! Handling is much sharper with the 22's, I run them summer only, never been approached for drugs either it's definitely an age thing! |

Maybe it's coz we don't drive around with the windows down, blasting out rap music, dressed in a red tracksuit and backward facing baseball cap?

Ok, I'm just looking for opinion on ride quality from people who already have 22's fitted, not from people who havent. No offence to those who have commented but jesus, we are allowed to have personal preferences that differ from others. I happen to like the look of the 22's as they fill the arches better, some people don't and I respect that. What they do with their car is their own business. What I do with my car is mine.

I don't feel much of a difference between 20 and 22's to be honest. Just be careful of potholes, as the lack of sidewall is more likely to cause cracks and miss-shaped wheels.

Can't say I noticed a difference in ride quality when I had the 22 on the sport but I would never fit them to the full fat we have now even though they are still in the garage due to the crap roads and the hassle with cracking the alloys happened twice.
