Flat Battery.

Guys,
Is it possible to charge the battery without disconnecting it etc? If you can use jump leads then surely a charger will be ok?
I parked the car in such a position that I can't get a car close to it so please nobody ask why I didn't jump start! 'An it's Tommy this an' Tommy that,
