WBAC.com

Just got my valuation back from wbac.com , not surprised at what they are offering (they should have an eye patch on their Logo) …

Anyhow have noticed they have upped their transaction fee from £49.99 up to £74.99 , nearly £25 for an extra bit of ink on the paperwork ….

Censored me ====================================

I would't sell to them out of principle. They really are con merchants at the prices they offer. Also heard they then always lower the actual price paid once you take the car in to sell Evil or Very Mad

But, I suppose in this financial climate, there's plenty of people who need cash quick, so out come the sharks.
Same with the gold buyers Rolling Eyes
If they thought they could make money from turds they'd still offer a sh*t price Laughing

I use their valuation every now & again to make me have a laugh Thumbs Up

Local dealership up here uses them to guide price FF's for a trade in valuation , I don't need the money just curious to how much it has dropped in price . ====================================

WBAC ??

W**kers, B**tards, A**holes & C***s. Thumbs Up

Standard practice used to be, 1. Give an unbelievable price intially, then 2. Get tosser in a suit to start knowcking off 50 quid a time for stonechips, marks on wheels, etc etc. Usually comes in about 3 grand less than initial quote.

Would never entertain them again. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

Yep, mine's based on personal experience. After a half decent offer I got to their depot and listened to their assessor's incessant drivle for about 20 minutes before I invited him to go forth and fornicate with himself.

I basically told him to either pony up the initial offer value or quit wasting everyone's time. They are utter wasters and IMHO sit squarely with the likes of pawn shops. Fine of you're desperate enough.

One of my brothers mates left there on principle as they were semi OK to start with but then when the tv adds and stuff hit they were given targets of 5-10% minimum to be knocked off the guide price when the cars came in.
Even if a car was mint they would get money off somehow as they were targeted on it. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

What happens to the cars after they buy them? Do they then sell them to trade or do they have a supermarket size show complex somewhere ? Previously..

They often go to auction houses iirc unless very good in which case they get sold to a car supermarket somewhere.

Generally its quick in quick out for as much profit as possible. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Dealer is a con merchant too then. Ask him if he has heard of CAP valuations.
