You should NEVER unplug anything from the FFRR whilst the battery is still connected to the car. Not sure if you have done damage or not, maybe others who may have gone down this route will be able to advise |

i had a range rover in a month or so ago with the same problem as you got, it was the as you was thinking the multi plugs on the ecu. the loom is fairly taught and pulls on the plugs which opens the terminals inside over time, you can open the multi plug and give all the terminals a gentle squeeze so they make contact on the pins in the ecu again, give it a nice spray with electrical contact cleaner after to clean any muck off then plug it all back in and test it again. hopefully you will have sorted the problem, if not open the loom on that particular height sensor and check it for damage. they do do a repair section of loom with a new plug for the height sensors if you find a problem that end as they do give problems. happy hunting. |
