Long lasting tyres

I was wondering through experience who you guys would recommend for decent tyres that would cover 30-40k miles without having to break the bank. I need 2 good mid range tyres that will last a few years.
Thanks
Josh

I have had Nexens on my 20" rims on for nearly five years now (35,000 miles). Fronts are still fine, but rears wore out due to poor alignment/tracking at rear.

My General ATs (18" rims) have also worn well, very deep tread. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

I had a set of General Grabber UHP on our xc90, lasted ages, on for a few years and still looked good.
Good value too ... Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Some say their Vreds last a long time. The disco forum may be a good place to help as their sizes are about the same and some cover huge mileages.

I think Scorp ATR's are the flavour of the month at the minute their for a long life. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
