United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black
Eastnor - On and Off Road (Pics)

I visited Eastnor today and drove a 4.4. Autobiography for 1.5hrs on road and a 3.0 Vogue for 1.5hrs off road. A great day and fantastic RR's.

I drove to/from the event in my MY11 4.4 Vogue SE. I can't say that the £50k to swap for an identical new one is worth it for me. Other than the emotional pull of a new RR, I can't justify it because the MY11 is so good in comparison. Other than the newer active dynamics in the 4.4 and a new interior, the new one felt little different to the MY11. The new 4.4 does have nice V8 growl though and is the one I will eventually buy Wink

I've been there a few times myself its a good day out.

I agree with you it's a lot of money to change a car thats only two years old.

I did the same & got the same as you phil, although had the SC on the road & 4.4 on the off road test.

Came out with the same conclusion though, nice car, but cannot justify the cost to change at the moment. I actually prefered my current model to drive overall, but no doubt it will start to look outdated in a couple of years.

I might wait until mine is 3 years old, then think about changing.

What did you think of the 3 litre ? enough power ? probably difficult to tell in low range if you were only off road.

Like you say, I couldn't really tell off road with the 3.0 but it felt fine. My reservation with the 3.0 is the reduced stability control on the road when compared to the 4.4. MY23 D350 HSE
