Ashton Lane, or anywhere on Byres Road is pretty close, or if you have a generous expense allowance, Number 5 at Hotel Du Vin Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

The Partners Italian Bistro, its at the traffic light junction just as you turn off the A82 into the Pond, its excellent. Alternatively, if you fancy a top quality Indian take a drive towards the town and head to Mother India on Westminister Terrace, you wont be disappointed (though dont mistake it for Mother India's Cafe just down the road), Butter Chicken recommended |

At the top of Sauchiehall Street there's a lovely restaurant called The Butchers Shop.
