5.7 Overfinch 110 - I REALLY Want This!!!!!

My own 110 is shortly off to be re-chassied, but this has just come up for sale and I desperately want it!!!!

Boring-sensible wifey says no (mainly because the 110's new chassis order is past the point of no return), so that response has sealed my decision to buy a 5.0 S/C FF in a few years rather than a 4.2 S/C later this year.

But I do have space on the driveway for a 5th car.... Maybe I need to persuade wifey more... Confused Laughing

Been trying not to want that. Suspect it will be unsold with that starting price, only to appear at Graeme Hunt's for twice as much.

You're not wrong Trommel.

Nice but Meh, only a one off special, not one of a limited production run. No more value than a home brew of the same standard to be frank. Now, if it had been a RR Classic O/F 570.......... Thumbs Up

No denying it's nice though, just probably not 16 large worth of "nice"

Agreed. 3 hours to go and nothing of any significance.

A '99 Td5 would fetch, what, £7-9k these days tops in that condition.

Thing is that a 5.7 like that isn't a huge job to fit in any 110. No electrics to speak of and a relatively easy fit in the chassis. It's the Overfinch moniker that adds perceived value which the seller seems keen to make the most out of.

Still, a 110 with over 300bhp from a big lazy V8 is always a massively desirable thing. Si. <This is my name.
