Cheers TASP Smile

Will give them a call come pay day and get the bike removed from the house insurance from that point.

Think its just stupid the way they are acting but anything for them to wriggle out of a few pennies!

Will see if they do like for like when i get the US spec i want Smile

Wheelies rang me yesterday to say they may have it in 3 weeks, still no f'in use when i wanted to go out on it at the weekends and need it for work at the minute! and still not going to be US spec either Sad

for £6 a month they are quoting i think it will be well worth the money Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

What do you think of this will? Bought it today in halfords. I took it home in the box and built it myself! Voodoo Bantu. Quite light, hydraulic brakes etc.

Its a good looking bike to me CB Smile

quite well specced for the price too Smile

comes in at a massive 1kg heavier than the GT but then it is much cheaper for that reason Smile

I'd look at doing a DIY tubeless conversion if the rims support it as it will help with punctures if you stick a tube of slime in each rim.
Air forks are good as well. One thing im struggling to find is a remote lockout add-on for any of the ones used on the GT's.

Someone somewhere must do a kit to make non remotes- remotable Sad

I must just be a fuddy duddy old fart not liking the bright shiney bling stuff that is being touted these days Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yip.. The slime is a good idea. I thought the spec was spot on for £359. The brakes are amazing. I'm doing stoppies already!
I'm not a serious bike nut, but I do like a decent bit of kit. Previously..

You'll enjoy it a lot, especially for keeping fit Smile

Are you using it on road at all or all off road?

I have been tempted by the thought of a week in the alps or 3 valleys in the summer to use the gondolas to go up, and the bike to go down IF i ever get one Big Cry FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Really lucky that where I live we are blessed with tracks all around us. I can leave the house and within 30 seconds can be off road bombing down a track. I reckon that I will be offroad 75+% of the time. TBH not a fan of riding on road. Infact I am pretty much anti push bikes on road. They are a bloody hazard on the roads round about here. Previously..

Some places are just lethal for road bikes at the minute, especially with potholes Sad

True i guess, could always put some miles on the FF and put it in the back??

Also how come your crossbar is straight? shouldn't it drop a little near the downtube? Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

The bike's 30 years old, no such thing as drop tubes back then Laughing Laughing

No, I wouldn't reach the pedals if it were any higher Whistle

Turbo trainer Mick, the yellow one is easy to use, a counterbalance weight on one side of the roller and a fan on the other side. The fan builds up resistance and the faster you pedal the harder the pedalling gets but nothing too difficult, the one the bike is on is fluid and fan controlled and is really giving me some serious muscle burn Big Cry Big Cry

I wonder if you could easily replace it with an old alternator so you could charge your cars up while working out... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
