Trade in values

Have been looking for a new car for some time but change my mind so frequently! Anyway was wondering what you guys experiences of trade in values at LR are. Am just curious as to how good a deal they would do against something like a Disco 4 with a years mileage or something like that. And whether the lack of hassle would be worth it against a private deal then buying with cash. I guess I could use my unbreakable work Isuzu in the mean time but am attracted by the idea of a straight trade in.
Anyway does anyone have any experience of how generous or not LR dealers are with regards a trade in to sell a more valuable model

Cheers
T

Top Tip.....

They are better at Gary Elliott Prestige Cars..... Whistle Very Happy

PS: Seriously though my buying service offers better than Main Dealer PX values with the added bonus of zero hassle sale (exactly the same as PXing) and the cash to drive a much harder bargain at the Stealers. You could be £1000s better off compared with direct PX with Stealer and the lack of discount that goes with that.

I was under the impression that the aforementioned purveyor of prime examples of the marque didnt like cars whose wheels had gone round a bit too far?!

That is/was when there are/were plenty to choose from Tom, at this time of year I will consider those "Higher Milers" Wink

Plus you car gets pampered and fixed up and sold to a warm & friendly family rather than being sent to the crusher (Auction House).....

Haha! Oh I will have to weld the 2 halves together before then! Do you prefer front and rear ends to be the same colour?!

Just PM reg number & mileage as well as service history details and anything that might need attention including tyre tread depth etc.

Perhaps a quick Wrap as paint may take ages to dry in this weather....

The more expensive the car you're buying, the more generous the trade in will be. Ffrr are big and thirsty. Depreciation is pretty massive over here. Few people know how to repair them here, so there's less demand second hand.

On a positive note, we're it not for the massive depreciation, I could never have afforded mine! Very Happy
