It’s only telling you that the indicator lights are working on the trailer. I wasn’t aware it has any other function. Only comes on with the car indicators if I remember right.

Yep, just flashes when I indicate. My D2 does the same, my other D2 did and so did my Vauxhall Cavalier and Merc E-class.

Agree for the 10 to 12 cars, but for at least some earlier years was on if electrics connected and flashed when indicators on. A rare case of stripping out function. Mike - MPx
