PARK HEATER REMOTE RECIEVER

having studied a few posts it is suggested that the wiring should be in place to retro fit a park heater to my 2003 4.4 pertol i can find the wiring in the front wheel arch for the webasto heater its self but rave shows the remote heater fob reciever ecu in the boot i have looked for the wiring but cannot find it anyone know the location of it on the early cars?

Just because the car has the heater does not mean it has the remote heat function. It was an optional extra.

I know yours has neither. What I'm saying is that my Td6 has the heater as standard, but no remote facility. It is a seperate thing.

So you have the wiring for the heater in the front, and nothing for thr remote bit. Sounds about right.

The ECU normally links to the remote bit attached to the TV tuner aerial I think.

There is some pics on here if you search for fuel burning heater, FBH or remote heat or such like.

2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I've just installed the receiver in mine.

The small black plug is in the loom next to the rear fuse board.
I bought the receiver for £40 off ebay, the remote was £25.
I didn't buy the OEM aerial, i pushed a length of wire into the socket, it works up to around 50 feet!!!

now i just have to take the fuel tank down to see about fitting the fuel pump and line Sad
