Costs of fuel around the world

Check out this site

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21238363

Based on £130 to fill a rangie in the UK (£51 before tax and VAT! Shocked ) then it would only cost £1.68 in Venezuela! I'm popping down to their embassy to see if I can still get citizenship! Big Cry

If we didnt have to pay all that tax, duty and vat uk motorists would be relatively happy with fuel prices. £1 a litre, half to the government and half to the fuel producers etc would be acceptable IMO.

I totally agree. the reason the tax and duty is so high is to pay for all the people coming into the country and claiming benefits which they have no right in doing so.

Haha, its not only fuel taxation that we pay for those people plus there is all our own lazy citizens spongeing, but we best not get into that discussion. If we didnt have to, there would be full fats aplenty!

Haha, best not, it might overload the system! Laughing
Plus if we didnt pay so much tax and the road was awash with full fats, it would spoil the exclusivity we seek! Very Happy

I would be happy paying current rates if the actual ROAD TAXATION parts of everything we paid actually went into the focking roads anyway! If they paid proper money the M62 would have been finished years ago! as it is i think its going for a record of longest living motorway roadworks in the UK as its got to be at least 4-5years now they have been at it and not a single road round me is pothole free, and any that have had work done have had a cheap resurface, IE quick light skim, tonnes of bitumen and then just recycled road material laid on top and wait for it to seal. Then it forms into blobs after a day or two and gets kicked up against your bodywork like your driving on a gravel strip!! GRRRR

And this is why I use BioD as much as possible as i don't see why i should pay anymore money to a government that uses it to buy Duck Houses... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
