New upgraded camera wiring - Dan??

Most aimed to Dan if he is around but obviously anyone is free to answer!

I just received the upgraded 2 pin camera and loom to from Dan (excellent speedy service!) to replace the defunt camera on my 2006 touchscreen car.

Now the coaxial terminals fit together fine but the 2 pin male on the camera loom meets the same 2 pin male connector on the car loom.
The camera wiring is red and black but the car is red/yellow and brown. So in order to test the camera before fitting it I wanted to just connect it up loose but was reluctant to chop the connectors to wire together without first checking to see which colour connects to which or indeed if it doesnt matter?!

Anyone know?

Cheers
T

Actually been a bit of a numpty, the old camera is wired red and black too so will just use a wee bit of its connector to extend the car loom and solder direct to the camera once I see if its working or not with the new camera.
Thanks anyhow

Right wiring tested OK and picture looks very good!

Next question is that one message on here says the camera mount is moved 7" to the right and one says 7cm?! Which is it?!

Or is there anyone very generous and could nip out and measure how far the camera is mounted from the end of the spoiler??!

Pretty please!

Right camera fitted and wired, non return valve in rear wash replaced and trim refitted albeit with previously snapped 'tongues' so only held on the right hand side but magically appears to hold quite well, especially with the tinted screens refitted. Never has reversing been so much fun!
