2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Why 22" on a car like this?

To my eyes the 21" Style 4 is the best design of a bad bunch, but I'd still go with 20"s (or 19"s) for ride and the ability to do more than drive over a cat's eye without damage. Very little sidewall on the 22"s.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Corris Grey

Was at LR Solihull on a factory tour in mid December and there were literally hundreds (if not a few thousand)of them lined up ready to go out to customers in January. They had every colour and spec going and there seemed to be numerous in use by staff around the site aswell. The magazine pictures do them no justice (I wasn't at all keen on the look but in the flesh they looked great). My Stratstone dealer also has the luxor one by the way. The tour is great by the way . We were told they have around a years worth of orders for the RR (they had even temporarily stopped the Disco 4 / RRS production line as the FFRRs had the priority in the paintshop which is common to all 3 types so was causing a bottleneck). Steve

Any less that 21"s just look too small on this car because the body looks so bulky. I drove one with 22"s and the ride was better than my 2010 on 20"s.

Didn't think that was possible as D4/RRS/L405 are all on the the same production line Wink

I went on the tour in early December and was told the early build cars were going off to dealerships as showroom cars/demonstrators.

The arch openings look bigger than before, but the wheel/tyre ratio of the 22"s looks wrong to me on a car like this (obviously the overall diameter will be almost identical). Almost inevitable that you'll damage the wheels off the tarmac too.

Car magazine say the ride is far better on the 20"s.

The wheels and body colour weren't my cup of tea either. They also had a black one that I assume they are using for test drives. Paul

I've gone for the 20's for the ride. I drove the 21" shod car and it wasn't too bad though. I see almost all the cars in Morocco had 20" wheels. I use mine off-road quite regularly and the lower profile sidewall is so vulnerable. I might even look for a set of the 19's that you can get in other territories and fit some ATs. My L322 is on 19's for that reason. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

The 19" Style 1 wheels are listed on the UK accessories page: http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/lr/all-new-...cessories/

Do they really need to put it in access mode or deflate the suspension on the showroom floors? Just look at the front wheel alignment and the steering wheel! its all gone to cock. I would have said a nice dark grey or black would get more punters in, at least its not white though... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Is that the same colour they used in the official promotional video ? - I suspect they want continuity throught the dealerships so everyone recognises it Rolling with laughter

Oh dear, from the front view I think I prefer the look of the sport behind Big Cry

This is the bit of plastic I really don't like & keep hitting my leg on it - it makes it feel narrower in the drivers cabin than the old model Sad
