I also think the rear is quite important as well, some cameras 'wake' up if theres an impact while the car is parked and start recording, you may not catch the accident but you would have footage of someone reversing off your pride and joy. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

I'm with JD on this,don't need a screen, too obvious.
Don't forget if you have an in car camera and commit an offence or have an accident which was may have been your fault it could prove very inconvenient having cctv evidence which confirms it.

Little tip from my motorcycling escapades, take a spare SD card, if something happens put that in the camera, itf it gets confiscated you have the evidence, good or bad !!! Sorry officer it obviously didnt record !!! One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Whole camera pops out of the holder pretty easily though.

Yeah but no need to make it easy for them, TBH after having a plain clothes traffic car try to goad me into speeding by pushing me from behind I would just love to have that on film to make a complaint !!! One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
