The interior of my car has been getting so hot in the sun recently that the stainless steel flask I keep in the centre cup holder for cold drinking has been getting to hot to dink. Had to have the ac on full bore for over 30 minutes to cool it down. Laughing

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Adrian, the harsh sunlight in NZ is something that surprised me a lot. My now wife warned about sitting in the sun during lunch but even the 10 mins did me in and my skin was used to it quite well after living in Perth.

I guess there is a price to pay for that beautiful clear sky of NZ with the amazing views, the sun really comes down hard on cars as well. I would be using a sun visor when not in the car (as I do over here), to keep the interior a bit cooler than it would be otherwise !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

New Zealand

I do apologise to the OP about hijacking his thread.
Now isn't it a lot nicer to write about the warm sun than silly old Range Rover doors freezing over. It makes one feel lovely and warm, oh hang on that's because it is lovely and warm even at 11pm.

It's alright because we suffer when the wind blows and the ground shakes. It's not called Windy Wellington the capital of the Shakey Isles for nothing.

Back to all your freezing bits

Portugal 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black

Must be the freezing locks, BUT, I found difficulty with a front door not closing easily, and on examination, there were 2 loose screws in the top hinge. Tightened, and no problem. May be more relevant with worn lock mechanisms, plus cold weather. Range Rover Vogue TD6 2002
