Interested! Do you know if the spoiler on the post facelift models is the same? Will the guard fit? How much for the winch kit and a 3 guards?

Will be on your side of the channel in 6 to 10 wks depending on the project I'm working on. Could be a good opportunity to save on shipping as I was considering driving over anyway.

Another question: what would happen if you put a jack under the very tip of the sump guard at the outside edge? If the car dropped 3" or 4" on to the tip? Is it that solid?

the guards ive got will only fit the pre facelift , the one fitted to my own i fab'd mostly myself from a damaged g4 guard

the winch cradle kit complete minus the winch will be about £400 give or take no vat to pay eigher

as for strength of sump guard its supported by four m10 size bolts that attatch solidly to the front tube sub section that holds all the suspension and engine components they are only structurally solid if jacked up under the load bearing parts it attaches to as you would get flax if jacked up in the middle of the plate and also the same with the genuine mantec part

if you was to drop down onto a ledge or boulder i would be confident that it will offer considerably more protection than the std plastic underguard

it is copied from the g4 vehicles so its good enough for whatever they were tested for Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

Mark, you say they're alloy are they aluminum? I'm also still interested in knowing where the pics of the facelift model come from.

Your winch kit looks the same as from these people:

Yes I understood that - I was just wondering which forum/whatever those pics were in. Thanks.

It does seem to be a good price for that kit - then again, I read somewhere that extreme4x4 is the reincarnation of another, now defunct co (Scorpion Racing?) and likely none too reliable....
