Funny that, isn't it? When the weather is just normal, it's "nasty 4x4s are the vehicles of Satan". But throw in a little flooding or snow and 4x4 drivers are suddenly hugely popular.

Personally, I wouldn't tow anyone unless I knew them reasonably well. I wouldn't put it past anyone to sue the owner of the towing car if anything went wrong and their car got damaged somehow.

My car is parked up for the night now and I'm not moving it. So hard luck, people needing a tow out of a ditch. Rolling with laughter
