I would complain - unless they are prepared to guarantee your transfer box. The formulation for the oil was made specifically for the transfer box for the FFRR.

Oh, I will be complaining... I should have realised they had no idea when he asked if it was the TD6 or the TDV6... When I told him the Range Rover never came with a TDV6 he seemed a bit miffed. Even though he clarified the vehicle I had - and I pointed to it through the window, the dumb must have thought I had a Sport... |

Also how come they gave you two different oils for the diffs when i changed mine both were the same

Um, the transfer box only takes a litre. I got a litre out and put a litre in. The oil comes in 1 litre bottles.

All good, they were happy to fix the mistake. They swapped the wrong bottle with TWO of the correct ones. I said it only takes a litre, but they said they were happy to provide me with 2 for my troubles.
