Tyre Wear - Higher on offside wheels?

As per title really.

Swapped all 4 wheels and tyres about 15months ago, so all 4 went on at the same time. 255-55-19 General Grabber ATs.

Last night noticed that both the front and rear offside tyre are more worn than their nearside counterparts. Difference is really quite marked just measured them and offside are 2 - 3mm lower than the nearside.

Bit confused by this. Any thoughts?

David

I'm sure its down to the way you drive i'm afraid.

Mine always wear more on the near side as its a bad camber coming into my road and up hill so i seem to give a bit of beans wears the tyres out quicker.

If you think about you're driving habits you may do lots of left hand turns with you foot down.

I have asked tyre fitters in the past thats what they have said.

Yebbut.

Roundabouts are mostly right-handers, unless I'm doing it wrong.

There is often a fat bloke in the right hand chair, but not sure if the effect would be this pronounced.

You drive a supercharged FFRR you probably have a lead foot, thats the problem.
Left handers at speed especially the ones you know really well.
