Try and you'll see. The forum on intravention.co.uk is also a great place for help.

DOH I didnt realise you do it all on the screen, the Intravee has a serial port so i thought it was via a laptop.
I'll be getting an IID tool in the next few days but I believe the Intravee can do mirrors close on locking.
Thanks Joker that link looks useful Thumbs Up One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Yeah the intravee can do autofold mirrors on locking the car, auto lock and unlocking whilsting driving and then select park and it unlocks

With the mk4 satnav u can have a distance view on screen when parking sensors kick in

U can get live vehicle results engine temp etc etc

Also it gives u car service details all in all a great bit of kit

Yeah, the Intravee inventor died and all the site hosting was on a machine in his house. Sad

I did a quick google - apparently he really died at the end of Nov. He was only 45 too. I am older. Shocked
I did not have any direct contact with him, but from all I read he was a very helpful person. And his product is great. Very sad.

JD, just in case you need any instructions:
http://www.toysinyourcar.com/Intravee_Quick_Install_Guide.pdf
and
http://www.toysinyourcar.com/Intravee_Users_Guide_V6.02-5952.pdf
(this is 150 pages long! And I am still writing on the IIDTool manual - which is considerably more complicated than the Intravee Big Cry )

And just a quick explanation: CCF editing through the IIDTool allows you to access 'soft switches' that LR has pre-programmed into the ECUs. It is sometimes called programming but this is really a misnomer.
Power fold on lock was never pre-programmed into the pre-2010 RR so the IIDTool has nothing to CCF edit on. You need an additional module that listens for the 'Lock' command and then sends a 'Power Fold' command. The Intravee is this extra module. We are considering doing similar with a very small add on box for numerous features - we'll see when the development of the IIDTool has been finished.

Someone who helped out with the company posted on here before christmas about the situation.
He doubted any more will be produced and no more firmware updates will be available as all the nitty gritty has passed on with the owner.

Not so much so, I believe that hopefully the company will continue as his family want this. There is quite a lot of stock still as well as a number of unfinished units that will be finished. A lot of help is available on the BM forum

http://forum.bmw5.co.uk/topic/75485-the-in...-download/

Thanks cliffy for the above link. There is also a forum section on there just for the Intravee. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Its Richard P who seems to be the Intravee expert on the BM forum, he has told me what I need to do, since then it appears the family have said they would like the product to continue so talks are in place with the executors of the estate to see if this can happen. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
