As far as I know it's between £15-£20k told them in an e-mail that I will be the harshest critic of their work, got a phone call from the manager 15 minutes later to say that he intends taking personal charge of the repair...yeah right!!! Laughing

Got a phone call today to say that the repair cannot be done at Nationwide's branch in Dundee as they don't have a big enough rig to pull out the back post so they are now taking it up to Perth to their commercial branch where they repair trucks to see if they can do it there Shocked I asked the guy if they would have it repaired by their estimated date of the 28th January...he kind of laughed and said errr... no maybe by the 28th of February... we have ordered panels but have no idea when they will be here and to be honest with you sir there is also a possibility that we may replace the roof as it has a severe crease in it but will be able to confirm this once we have it in Perth Big Cry I then went on to remind him about the suspension dropping after the accident....no problem he said we will check the springs for you Shocked Shocked Holy F Censored can you believe it!!! Big Cry Big Cry

And so it begins............ Rolling Eyes

Maybe a call to the insurance explaining your reluctance to accept the car after such major repairs might be in order? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

How far off being written off is it cost-wise? Quite surprised it's being fixed if the roof is creased.

According to the Insurance company assessor it's a "fixer" but that was before the call I got today Sad

I'd be inclined to play hardball with the insurance and make it clear that you were prepared to accept a new pillar, but not a complete roof! Then there's the issue with the suspension that seems to have been "overlooked"! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Doesn't sound good Jim, I can't see a new roof being fitted and them making a good job, especially when the back door don't fit

Not sure about the L405 John but bit worried about the current one ...I believe the rear passenger door is also a bit out of line
