Hi guys I've bought an after marker dvb tuner for the 2004 non touch screen!
Prob is I can't seem to find a ignition live wire around in the sat nav amp dsp area!!
Plenty of permanent live wire but none that switch off with the ignition??
I've done a quick search on here with no luck!

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Colour wire etc!

i'd get a multimeter and check all the spare plugs around that area, you should find something.. ... - .- -.

I've been in there poking around with a test light but most lives seem to be permanently on?

There is one. You might need to remove the black tray to get better access.

There is a part of the wiring loom with a big black connector that runs over/in front of the radio. In there (you'll have to unpick it) there is a purple wire. That's your ignition live.

Thankfully with this dvb unit I bought it has extra inputs so with a bit of luck ill get my ipod connected!! Through the tv aux? It'll be mono but hey hoo!
