Steering reset

How is a steering wheel reset carried out. Is it 3 full turns right to left and back again? What does this actually reset? 2002 Vogue Epsom Green with Ivory Leather.

just full lock once each way calibrates the steering angle sensor 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I did read that this may reset all sorts of errors including suspension height errors. It does make more sense that it is more limited as your reply says, maybe just the one fault. 2002 Vogue Epsom Green with Ivory Leather.

it can clear a few issues if steering angle is used in the respective control unit, but I've only needed to do it after a battery disconnect 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
