Time to time, i also notice that smell.

Usually, it happens when i'm behind a car throwing lots of fumes. Though it could be the ventilation, but as none of the other cars of the household smell like that when behind others, though that it couldn't be it.

Thanks to RRUK, as it describes perfectly the smell. So now i know where it's coming from.
