United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver
is this for real!

my 2003 td6 is returning about 20mpg, its done 97k with fsh and recent gearbox, it is mainly used for short trips so its sort of what i expected but was thinking of getting a remap as iv always heard good things but came across this when searching on google, i very much doubt people are getting what they think in this thread but is it possible to get an extra 5mpg? to be fair most people on this forum seem to think they have a 02-05 tdv6 so they might be a bit dim or is it worth a group buy?

A lot of those boxes fool the computer by hiking the fuel pressure. You need to brim it to get the correct value. My TD6 has a tuning box of some sort and reality is always 2-3mpg worse.

i had an 'eco' remap and initially i was very impressed with a 4/5 mpg increase but after about 10 days it went back to normal so in my personnel opinion it didnt work..... removing the egr valve and blanking it off will improve the mpg slightly... ... - .- -.

Had mine remapped when i bought it, its 32mile round tdrip to work. City and motorway driving.

According to the fuelly calculations its averaging abour 25, does improve in warmer weather Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.
