Air Suspension Inactive after D/S Front Bag Blew!

hi all,

Yesterday front drivers side air suspension bag blew on my L322. Big Cry
Changed it today and now it looks like a dog Censored ! Anywhere in the North East which could re-calibrate the suspension?

Cheers James

That is a bit strange, mine was hanging with its nose on the ground when both front bags were replaced but needed no electronic "help" to get going again. I suggest to disconnect the battery clamps, hold them together for at least 10 secs. to drain the ECU memories and then reconnect to the battery. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Hi mate try this item no on eBay, he only quoted me £40 to recalibrate my suspension as mine sits a little low at the rear, he is in Durham, unless there's someone on the forum who has the diagnostics to do it , the only reason I haven't paid to have mine done is because I'm not 100% it will cure it then It will be a waste of money so I was hoping someone had diagnostics who could help me Smile

Have you driven the car since changing the air bag?

The height sensor should automatically correct the ride height on each corner, try driving it a few miles before getting it recalibrated.

Ive used a guy in Haswell on numerous occasions for allsorts of jobs including suspension adjustments
He used to work for a main dealer but decided to set up on his own

There is no such thing as an automatic recalibration . And you won't need it if all you've done is replaced the strut.

You have a critical fault ( hard fault) logged and the EAS shut itself down till you get this cleared. Even the dealer usually only charges GBP 40 or so for this. If you find a nice Indy, you might get it done for free.

Cheers mate but I think it needs recalibrating, I don't think it has any faults it just sits about 4cm lower on the back, might be worth plugging it in first to see if there is a fault though ?

Yeah I think it's supposed to be 10mm lower, i used the guide on here and it's definiey to low at the rear, I'm hoping a recalibration is all it needs as the suspension goes up and down exactly how it should and it doesn't drop over night
