I don't think he realised he even needed it, so checking wouldn't have helped. Wouldn't have been visible in his boot.

Looks like his TCU is mounted the other way up, so the 54 pin plug is at the bottom. Must have not been plugged in securely, and finally got pulled out whilst he was swapping the nav units over.

In the 7th post, he mentioned it wasn't used............

Got there in the end 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The problem where only a lose switch. Since it was out off viewing range i did not know about it. -03V td6
