Reversing Camera DIY

I was wondering if you could fit a reversing camera to a 05 plate. I know they came later in that year. I was looking at a 2005 silver vogue with black interior. It has the venture cam. They are asking €22k. I am living in southern Ireland. I like RR Vouges. But I was looking for a face-lift model. But this seems a good deal. [/b]

I've noticed on Ebay a seller with reversing camera build instructions.

He wants £10 for the info tho. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

You can save yourself the 10er if you do a BMW search rather than a RR search. (google BMW+navigation+reversing camera)

If I'm not mistaken, you need a relay and the TV module (doesn't matter if analog or digital) and a NTSC camera. The relay is connected to the reverse lights and switches the camera to aux in on the TV receiver. Not too difficult...

Thanks for your advice. I will check it out later. I am getting the RR from the garage for a coupe of hours tomorrow to check it out. I checked the VIN number with a main dealer He said it has not had any recall work done. It needs the front diff done is there any thing else that I should be aware of?

That is €22 euro remember. I am living in southern Ireland. In 2005 a RR Vogue was over €135k in euro. The tax system here is mad. It is going to cost me €1300 just for road tax for the year. I should move back to Scotland. Things are alot cheaper over in UK. I moved over here 12 years ago. My job keeps me here.

Hi at the moment I am mostly working near Dublin but staying nearer Dun Laoghaire. (we were in hotels in Ballsbridge).
Cork is a lovely place, I think the project has some stuff to do there later in the year.
