Full stop , i don't put a full stop in that is where the cursor jumps back to , and i select the emoticon but as in screenshot 2 when i go to continue typing that is what happens … |

Back in Mac-land but can't reproduce this myself - presume you've also rebooted but the fault stays? 2012 FFRR Westminster Orkney / Ivory and absolutely no pimp-glass!
