Winter tyres 20 inch

Ok, having read through the tyres forum it sounds like Vredestein Wintrac Extreme are the preferred choice, BUT my local supplier says not available in 225/50 - 20". OR 275/45-20". So, is that true? And if so, what make/type/size are you all fitting? Hopefully not changing to 19" wheels!
For info, 1st set of Scorpions now worn out at 27k on my '11 plate TDV8 4.4. Need proper winter tyre for next 4 months then will consider 2nd set of alloys and summer tyres to save the winters until next year.
Thanks.

I had the same problem finding 20" winter tyres. Got a set of five 19" with Pirelli M&S from Dan at Duckworths. for under a grand!

I don't know why I'm so interested, my current set of Dunlop Grandtrek WT M3's have over 6mm of tread left on and I don't use the car much. Chances are I won't need to change them for the next 2 winters even if I keep the car that long.
