Sat nav disc?

Has anyone upgraded their 2007/8 LR sat nav disc to the latest disc.

Is it worth the cost lr charge.......

Not looking for copies etc, just wondering if anyone had the latest put into a 2008my car and wether there is any discernible difference. Presume it just gives map updates nothing else..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have just upgraded to the 2011-12 maps. I was hoping for a tomtom type look, but no, it's just as bad as it was before. I take it the maps are updated but I have not been on any new roads yet!

Pm sent. Turn the ignition to position 2, put the disc in, sit back and relax whilst it does it all itself! Previously..

Do does the new disk change nothing apart from updated roads?

new disks just update the maps, no other updates (like the new RR splash screen Big Cry )

And the map updates aren't exactly what you would call 'current' either... Whistle

the 2011/12 disc will update the mapping and poi's and give you very subtle changes to the 'map' itself, nothing else..

please be careful mentioning where you can get the latest disc other than official sources, because as per forum rules this thread might get deleted. ... - .- -.
