United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

A radiator specialist made me a new one for £210+VAT (£252).

Garage I got the car paid, and then paid for it to be fitted.

Obviously the Land Rover original was a bit more, but not £1000 odd all in......... Shocked

I don't think the original ones have the best reputation, so was happy to try a different source........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

You either go dealer and all OEM or you get an aftermarket rad and an indy shop - and pay prob only 50-70%.

I'm not 100% sure if the SC rad is available in the aftermarket (I know the other models are), but the aftermarket radiators that I know of are by Behr - the OEM supplier. And Behr is also in Stuttgart. Razz

Speaking of Stuttgart, did you drive the L405 at Schloss Hohenheim last week?

Donnerstag morgen? Wir haben uns gesehen! Du sagtest mir etwas wie: "Die Diesel, naja. Es muss wieder ein SC sein". Mit sehr breitem Grinsen. Laughing

Seems Angel and I had a quick chat in between driving different models of the L405 at the presentation in Stuttgart last week. I just recognized him from his pic. Laughing small world

I've got the same 'do' BTW. Buffs up quite nicely.

I clearly don't spend enough with Land Rover to warrant being asked to test drive the L405, (I've only had 3 Range Rovers on the trot and also bought a Defender for fun)

Frank, just buy a new one and give me the SC! Discovery 4 HSE

Believe it or not, the car was hit 3 times in the last 5 weeks. Shocked
- 5 weeks ago: a guy in a small VW with a big trailer avoided rear-ending us just outside of Freiburg by squeezing himself between the guardrail and the RR on the left. Unfortunately he bounced off the guardrail and into the LR door and quarter panel.
- 3 weeks ago: the car was hit in the while parked in Colmar. Bumper needs paint.
- Yesterday a taxi decided to try to pass my wife while she was parallel parking. He swiped the LF corner of the RR damaging the hood (bonnet), the bumper (which now not only needs paint but a replacement) and the fender.

And the windshield (replaced in March) has an 8" crack as of about 2 weeks ago.

5 weeks ago I owned a nearly pristine RR (looked just like in the header here) with only some small scrapes and scratches (mainly from brush off road). Now

My body man laughs at me when I pull up to the shop. An I have to go by again today because of the taxi. Big Cry
At least I am not paying... Whistle
