I know there has been much written on here ref tv tuners etc, but can anyone tell me if this is the right unit to get my tv working?

My car is jan 06, fibre optic most, touch screen sat nav, but not full facelift (doesn't have electronic handbrake)

The tuner I have been offered has the following part nos on it;

LR014222

L322 TCR Hybrid TV

7H42-19C053-AB

This is a minefield and I don't want to blow cash on the wrong parts....

I suggest getting in touch with Wiggs, on here. He has units available from time to time, and may be able to help you.

Thanks for that...I'll give him a try just to clarify. I responded to Baris ref the recent thread he put on with kit for sale...but none of it was right for my car......

No prob.

Baris's mods are for the BMW electronics, on the older model with non-touchscreen.

yeah, he pretty much said that on the phone. I tried to buy one from Wiggs when I joined recently, but I just missed the boat and I don't think he's had any more in since then.....hopefully this one might do the job. I've sent him a PM.
