Goncalo- the backlight to the LCD panels - I was told they couldn't (or the company do not advise) be changed for various reasons (something about the colours and difficulty in seeing the display in daylight?) so they are still the original bulbs and brightness . They can however change the colour to a yellow/amber colour (as seen in BMW's of the same era) if you so wished ( I decided against that as it wouldn't match the other switches/sat nav/headlight switches etc)

I think mine has one fused lamp because some parts are have more light than others!

For the moment my instrument cluster is not perfect but is not so bad i can read everything but i think is starting to have the pixel problem... so i think i will send to fix! Even from Portugal! I think he is the expert!

Unwashed thinking exactly that .. I've seen a kit on ebay for the stereo pixel repairs, so its possibly available as a kit

I finally did my pixel repair over the Easter weekend. Now I know how many km I have on the beast.

The most stressful thing is removing the needles.

I used a PixelFix kit http://www.pixelfix.net/eng/rover.html I'd bought back in Dec 2015.

It's winter hence the low temperature (deg C)
