Rear Washer NRV and Oil Filter Canister Seals

2 questions, non-related...........

My rear wash has now totally stopped outputting any water, I've read the threads on here all about the stripdown, but are you better getting a new non-return valve, or is clearing out the old one just as good ? The garage cleaned it out 12 months ago...........

My 2nd query, when you change the oil filter (Td6) there is a new rubber ring seal (about the size of the bottom of a pint pot) that goes round the top of the cap.

Is there another smaller seal ring that goes towards the bottom of the plastic shaft ? Approx slightly bigger than the size of a 5p piece....... as I don't have one.

Had a look on thw wiki but the pictures don't work on the servicing thread.........

Thanks

I did my NRV, it was less than a fiver, so I thought no point in trying to clean out old one. It's sealed anyway. Thumbs Up Previously..
