from memory ' i think both keys have to be coded both at the same time in the same process..not sure if your dealer did that and i may be wrong, hopefully an expert will confirm [daveo?] ... - .- -.

Yes both most be coded one after the other in the same single process. Its easy to do and probably in the WIKI if I know Stanley..... |

Correct, you always need to code all keys (car takes up to 7 I believe) together. So they all need to go through the button pressing exercise one after the other, when you leave one key out, it is "removed" from the memory of the ECU. Annoying but the idea behind it is that when you lost a key, that key can't be used on the car anymore (so a "lucky finder" can't take your car for a spin). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
