Main Dealer Discount Parts & Clearance Sites

Not sure if anyone on here has come across these sites but it looks like some main dealers use them to flog off clearance stock. Seems to work well if you are lucky. I have just ordered a brand new supercharged brake pedal assembly for £70 plus delivery discounted from £220 from a LR dealer in Belfast and some painted wing mirror covers from Duckworth parts for £40 plus delivery down from £90. (Dan is away so went through the site).

If you are searching for something specific just enter the part number in the search box on the sites and you might be lucky if they are looking to clear it from the shelf.

Good luck!

Have tried to use in the past and had ZERO reply from the dealer, so something doesn't work somewhere...

I rang the dealers directly to confirm stock after clicking to purchase, and it all seems legit. I guess they don't monitor the sites all the time so a quick call will nudge them along. Tom

If you have to order through one site and then ring the dealer to make sure you've ordered it I don't see the point - might as well cut out the faff of the first bit?

I only called as the prices were so good and I wanted to make sure it was not an old advert listing etc, the connexion site advertises discount parts that you have to contact the dealer to pay for, and the stock was amended straightaway so it is a live system. The parts reunited site allows you to buy and pay with paypal without the need to contact the dealer. I only called on that one to amend mailing address.

I am sure Dan at Duckworths will confirm their use. Tom

Very Happy I know. I was suspicious at first, but the calls reassured me it was real.

But when the system is flawed it creates an opportunity for a proactive buyer. Maybe other buyers emailed and gave up. In the end, some of the prices they are offering are really good. Always worth a try if you need something specific and you might be lucky. Tom

Twas indeed Charles Hurst! They were on Carpartsconnexion, Duckworths were on Parts Reunited. Tom
