FFRR SC on pistonheads

Hi Newbie here,

Be gentle,

After trying for a while to get a good Mercedes G500 I have given up and gone back to what I really want.

Firstly Yes Adam I have seen your Vogue and am interested. Thumbs Up

I attach a Supercharged FF on Pistonheads,

Are the exhausts correct? Question

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1384420.htm

Any other feedback.

Regards
Jem

2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Indus Silver

Hi Jem,

Welcome!

Those look like my exhausts so I guess they are correct.

Looks like a nice car. I am sure the guys here will be along with excellent advice. I'm only a relative newbie here myself, I have a 55 S/C in Zambezi Silver. What I would say is try everything electrical especially the air suspension- if it raises or slowly then the compressor may be J-Arthur'd. This would be a warranty fix but is inconvenient.

I have a problem with the rear brakes the caliper is convered by the warranty but they say the discs and pads aren't (consumables) so give them a good poke to see how worn they are- these are HEAVY cars!

My experience is that the engine catches easily has a nice gentle rumble to is and pulls really well. Anything outside this and there may be other issues.

Any strange gear change behaviour (stuttery upchanges etc)can be down to a sensor on the bottom of the radiator.

Check the adaptive headlights move correctly when you turn the steering wheel and look for damage inside the fron of the engine bay (they are extremely capable cars with outstanding brakes but some people think that this excuses the laws of physics!)

Whilst the guys on here are proper enthusiasts and treat their cars right (you've already mentioed RRUK's stunning example) some others may not be so careful.

Guys; What did I miss?

Best of luck with whichever new RR you get!

Steve

Just seen it too Mick, Thank you.

My last LR was a P38 on gas but has the grey int.

I really want a light (cream) interior with a dark exterior.

Am after a keeper here.

I have a really bad habit of changing my car every nine or so months, instant bordem.

A FFRR will fix this Rolling with laughter

It Better do or MRS Jem0911 will cut my plums off.

Too old and boring for Jeans.

But The lab and Spaniel might make a mess.

I shoot so don't want a mess may want to review my requirements.

United Kingdom

I have Sand on one RR and a black interior on another one, the sand is good it doesn't show much muck and a quick wipe with a damp towel removes any muck - it also looks very very nice.

I think the light cream / parchment may be too light though and definitely shows up grime. I find the black a little too overbearing and the piano wood to me just looks like black plastic, but then its all down to personal choice... I like a Range Rover to have richly coloured leather and dark walnut like a gentleman's club Wink
