Model Year VS Mileage?

£20000 would buy you (privately) either a nice:

2008[08] Range Rover Vogue TDV8 with 105,000 miles; or

2006[06] Range Rover Vogue TDV8 with 60,000 miles.

Which would you buy (You only have above choices) ?

Assuming both are 1 owner with FSH then I would be happier with the 08....I think Confused

Id go for the later higher milage, assuming both had good histories. Likely to be slightly less wear to the interior and the car is more likely to have covered motorway milage to accumulate the miles so less wear and tear etc. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The high miler for me Gaz. I used to run an Omega which had 416k on it when I sold it. Mileage is unimportant as long as there is service history.

100k on a TDV8 is really only halfway to where they should all get as a minimum.

Lower miles for me, but I might haggle on price a bit due to age! Less use, and less wear and tear on everything. Assumes an '06 and '08 have the same spec / toys as each other. .

Higher mileage for me too - but I would warn that I don't think you're getting a true cross section of your customer base who, in general, may well be more interested in the lower mileage model. There appears to be a large proportion of potential customers who will not entertain what they perceive to be high mileage cars, but I won't teach you to suck eggs!

Thanks totally agree with sleepezy above. I was interested to see what the forum thought and I suspected the results may go the way they have due to the better understanding of members on here. Thumbs Up
