Crankcase breather replacement

Excuse my lack of V8 petrol knowledge, but does it have a crankcase breather the same as the TD6 and if so does it need replacing regularly?

(Ps there is no such thing as a stupid question just .......)

I cant recommend enough what this forum says in its WIKI, the first thing to check is the crankcase breather number and ensure you have the right one. Mine was completely blocked and pipes in a bad bad way. Would never have looked if i had not read the WIKI.

Invaluable replacement if not already done.
