Tricky valuation - any help? | |
Hello all,
I'm considering flogging my FFRR but am really struggling to come up with a fair price to advertise it at. The main reason for the problem (in my head) is the amount of work it has had done very recently.
I'm not a dreamer and am not expecting the work done to translate to hard cash but, and I think it is a legitimate but, it has had rather a lot!
In a nutshell:
53 Plate 2004 Td6 Vogue
Silver, dark grey leather
107,000m
FSH
The details:
Over the last year it has had:
New engine (yep, a brand new crated LR engine, just run in with 1200 miles on it, warrantied)
New turbo (11 months warranty still on)
New gearbox (still under warranty)
New transfer box (still under warranty)
New front struts
New compressor
New front calipers
New door/boot seals all round
New steering wheel motor
It also comes with Mk4 Nav, full cargo nets, black OEM carpets, full OEM rubber mats, 20'' Stormer alloys with 4 6mm+ good tyres.
The problem is that I don't know what the value, if any, the replacement parts/engine etc have. It is essentially brand blooming new mechanically, doesn't need servicing for 12,000 miles. I know I should keep it forever but it is looking increasingly like I'll need to liquidate some cash at some point over the next few months.
Any advice would be grand.
Ben
