OK, got some LED strips on order. Will post up ebay link once I have them. 2 x 20cm strips which can be cut down a bit if too long (Reflectors are @ 19cm wide).

If I wire up to the rear fuse box, what is the best route into the cabin from the rear bumper?

Also got a choice of simply sticking them on top of the reflector, or cutting some of the reflector back to recess them. The latter choice goes against my philosophy of non destructive mods only though.... .

H.....mmm.
Be interested to see how bright they are in daylight.
Is the inside surface of the reflector backing silvered?

Just upped a couple of photos with it on a battery, quite bright

The grey part is just grey, but shiny, I am guessing the jiggy jaggy insides of the red part are doing most of the work reflecting light back out ? .

To be honest, it looks a lot less bling than I expected. Keen to see what it looks like on the car. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

@ Craig

You are not confusing the ones down on the bumper with the ones in the rear light cluster are you?

If not, on the bumper, you simply shove a flat bladed screwdriver in at the top of the reflector and lever out. They are held in place with a spring clip. Powerfuluk do a video on gaylander which has much the same reflector.

See photos in gallery for splitting the reflector (red bit) from the backing panel (grey bit). .

Help please... getting the power to the LED's:

1. Use trailer socket power ?
2. Route into rear fusebox ? (fuse 8 with piggyback as suggested by nicy)
3. Run cable to front and link with front DRL's ?

Preference is 2. but what is the best way in?

Also I had to wire the front DRL's (LEDs) in series, guess it is the same with these strips? .

Come into the boot through the grommit that is there on the Left-hand side of the boot for the tow bar electrics. It's not at the very left - about level with the left hand side of the spare wheel well.
