I had to find this out as mine is a facelift model and everyone seems confused as to which brake pads to use.

These parts are for facelift cars (TD6 & 4.4V8), from 05 registration onwards, 06MY onwards. These are NOT for Supercharged 4.2 Brembo brakes or TDV8 models.

There is a company on ebay selling new discs and pads quite reasonably. Front with pads £68, rear with pads £54. delivery around £10 per item. I've just emailed them to see how much for the lot in one delivery. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

I tend to go for cheaper (£20 a set) pads, my theory is that being made of what I presume is out of date cheese (although, does cheese ever go out of date or does it just get more expensive?) they tend to wear about 25% quicker than OEM pads. This means the discs last a lot longer.

Just out of interest, both my rear discs rusted about 4 weeks after they were fitted (the hub part) and I complained to the dealer as I reckoned they looked unsightly and asked where they were sourced from and was told they were standard LR issue (so can only assume LR are using another supplier). I mentioned that the ones they took off weren't rusty and nor were my front disc hubs and they had both been on for almost 3yrs!! As I got no joy, I'm now planning to paint the hubs with some high heat aluminiun paint I used on my other cars exhaust manifold.
