Heated seats

Does anyone know how far up the back of the seat the element goes. Mine only seem to heat half way up

England 2002 Range Rover HSE Td6 Java Black

Is the wiring loom in place for heated seats on a 2002 L322 SE. I have the dashboard switches for the seats out of a scrapper. I was wondering if i bought some pads whether it would be a straight forward fit. Many thanks.
